Applications for Australia Awards Scholarships commencing in 2026 will reopen in early 2025.
Australia Awards applicants must meet all eligibility requirements detailed in the Australia Awards Scholarships Policy Handbook, available at: dfat.gov.au/about-us/publications/Pages/australia-awards-scholarships-policy-handbook.aspx
In addition to the eligibility requirements, candidates from Mongolia must also meet the following country-specific conditions:

Applicants two-years’ continuous work requirement should be counted from the date of graduation of full-time Bachelor’s or Master’s course and backed up by certified Social Insurance monthly payments. Voluntary Social Insurance payments will not be accepted as verification of employment duration.
Applicants who have obtained a Master’s qualification funded from Mongolian-bilateral government scholarship schemes cannot apply for an Australia Award Scholarship.
Applicants who have accepted a Master’s qualification funded by Mongolian-bilateral government scholarship schemes during the interview round will no longer be eligible to be considered for an Australia Award scholarship.
