An awards ceremony was held for Australia Awards Scholarship recipients of Intake 2025

H.E. Ms Katie Smith, Ambassador of Australia to Mongolia hosted an Awards Ceremony on Thursday, 15 August 2024, for the seventeen Mongolian public and private sector awardees who have been awarded the prestigious Australia Awards Scholarships Intake 2025. The selected awardees will pursue postgraduate studies at Australian world-renowned universities in development areas such as education, economics, environment, engineering, artificial intelligence, finance, health, and public policy.
In her opening remarks, H.E. Ms Katie Smith, Ambassador of Australia to Mongolia, congratulated the awardees for being selected for the Australia Awards Scholarship Intake 2025. She encouraged them to make the best of their stay in Australia by meeting new people and enhancing Mongolian and Australian connections. Finally, she wished the awardees success with their studies and reminded them to return to continue to development of Mongolia in their fields.
After the opening remarks of the Government of Australia, the selected awardees introduced themselves briefly and explained the course they chose to study in Australia.
At the end of the ceremony, a discussion session was held by the Australia Awards – Mongolia (AAM) team. The AAM team introduced the Australia Awards policy on preparatory programs, placement, mobilization, and scholarship conditions.
