As part of the Women’s Leadership Program (WLP), ten selected participants have successfully engaged in the two-week intensive leadership training Program in Australia following the eight-month leadership and professional development program in Mongolia. The In-Australia component took place from the 20th of June to the 1st of July at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT).
The participants were immersed in a busy leadership training schedule while enjoying Australian culture and society. During the first week, everyone engaged in various well-rounded leadership seminars to build their personal and professional capabilities. In addition, they toured the QUT campus and took pleasure in sightseeing across Brisbane. During their final week in Australia, the participants went on a two-day executive leadership retreat to Stradbroke Island, where they solved wicked problems, practiced effective teamwork, and learned about the rich cultural backgrounds of the island. Furthermore, the batch wrapped up their time in Australia by developing their personal reintegration leadership action plans and creating presentations on their wicked problems’ solutions.
“I have not only advanced my knowledge about leadership, but I have also learned many humbling lessons from my peers over the past two weeks. I came to Australia intending to enhance my decision-making, conflict resolution, and persuasion skills. The training covered these important topics, and as a result, I have the confidence and knowledge to make a difference to the best of my ability. I’m grateful to have grown both personally and professionally.” – Onon Ariyamaa
